Good news: The BookaSalon plugin runs entirely on each salon’s own WordPress website. We never see, store or process the booking details of a salon’s customers (name, email, phone, date of birth) — that is solely the responsibility of each salon as data controller for their own customers. This privacy policy covers only our own website (bookasalon.dk) and any enquiries made through it — not data held inside the plugin itself.

1. Data controller

Sebastian H. Hansen, BookaSalon, bookasalon.dk, e-mail support@bookasalon.dk, is the data controller for personal data processed in connection with this website. BookaSalon is currently operated as a free service without a registered company number.

2. What information is collected

In its current form the website contains no cookies, tracking scripts or contact forms, and therefore collects no personal data automatically. The interactive demo on the front page runs entirely in your own browser and sends nothing to us. If a contact form, newsletter sign-up or visitor analytics is added later, this section will be updated with what is collected, the purpose and the legal basis (typically GDPR Article 6(1)(b) or (f)).

3. Sales and payment

BookaSalon is currently free, and no sales or payments take place via bookasalon.dk. This section will be updated if and when a paid version of the plugin is launched, describing what data would then be processed in connection with a purchase.

4. Disclosure to third parties

No personal data is disclosed to third parties from bookasalon.dk. This section will be updated if a payment provider or other data processors are added at some point.

5. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, and to object to the processing. Please contact support@bookasalon.dk.

6. Right to complain
